Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Site Star (“Site Star,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, respond to our advertisements or forms, contact us, or use our services.

Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing information, website content, images, instructions, and anything you include in a message or request.

We may also receive access to accounts and tools needed to operate your website, such as your domain registrar, hosting account, website platform, analytics tools, and search tools.

When you visit our website or interact with our advertisements, we may automatically collect basic technical and usage information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring links, general location, and information about how you found or interacted with our website.

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment-card numbers on our systems.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, provide and improve our services, build and maintain customer websites, process payments, manage accounts, send service-related communications, measure the effectiveness of our advertising, protect our systems, and meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

SMS/Text messaging

If you provide your phone number or communicate with us by text, we may send you messages about your account, website, requests, or services.

Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

You may reply STOP to opt out of text messages or ask us to stop texting through another reasonable communication method. You may reply HELP for assistance.

Opting out of text messages does not prevent us from sending necessary account or service communications by email.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or text-messaging opt-in information with third parties.

Customer website data

When we operate a customer’s website, we may handle information submitted by that website’s visitors, such as contact-form submissions or analytics data.

We process that information on the customer’s behalf, as a service provider acting under the customer’s direction, and use it only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, support, secure, or improve that customer’s website.

Customers remain responsible for their own website content, privacy notices, disclosures, and collection and use of visitor information.

This Privacy Policy applies to Site Star and does not serve as the privacy policy for any customer website.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their own direct marketing.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate and promote our business and provide our services. These may include hosting providers, payment processors, analytics providers, advertising platforms, communications platforms, contractors, security providers, and website tools.

Advertising and analytics providers may collect information through cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to help us understand how people find and use our website and to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements. You can opt out of this ad-related sharing by emailing us at hello@sitestar.io, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, customers, systems, personnel, or the public.

If Site Star is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for website functionality, security, analytics, and advertising measurement.

These technologies may help us understand how people use our website, how they arrived at it, and whether our advertisements are effective.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling them may affect how parts of the website function.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our systems.

When a customer stops using the service, we may return, export, delete, or retain information as described in the applicable service agreement and our ordinary data-retention practices.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we handle.

However, no system or method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a security incident affects your information, we will provide notice when required by law.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or to opt out of the sharing of your information for advertising.

To make a privacy request, email hello@sitestar.io. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are meant for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. If the changes are significant, we may provide additional notice.
