Transferring your site
You can hand your whole site to another Site Star account. The new owner gets the site and its settings and takes over the plan. It's done with a private invite link.
These three all reach the same Site Star agent, and it does the same thing whichever you pick. Use whatever's in reach.
- Site Star dashboardThe message box on My Site, once you're signed in.
- TextText your site's number from a phone it knows. Photos come through.
- EmailEmail your site's address. Attachments come through.
- Your own AI assistant Different setup, same result. Connect Claude or another assistant to your site once, then ask it from the chat you already use, and it acts on your site for you. Set it up
Open Transfer site
Make sure you're on the Website tab, then open Settings in the sidebar and click Ownership. The Transfer site card is there.
Create the invite link
Before you do, here's what moves and what stays:
- The new owner gets the site and its settings.
- Your account keeps the old conversation history. It is not copied to them.
Ask Site Star Not supported yet
Site Star can't do this one for you yet. Check back soon; for now, the steps below do it in the Site Star dashboard.
Or do it yourself in the Site Star dashboard
Click Create transfer link.
What the new owner does
The person you send the link to opens it while signed in to their own Site Star account, then accepts:
- They see Accept [your site]? with the site's name.
- If the site is on a paid plan, they choose which card pays for it (Choose payment, then Accept and continue) before the move begins. For a free site there's no payment; they just click Accept transfer.
- Once done, the site moves into their account, and they can open it right away.
