Automations
Some of what Site Star does for you happens on a schedule, without anyone asking: writing and publishing blog posts, looking for things worth writing about, checking the site for problems. Each one is a switch you control, and nothing runs until your site is built.
These three all reach the same Site Star agent, and it does the same thing whichever you pick. Use whatever's in reach.
- Site Star dashboardThe message box on My Site, once you're signed in.
- TextText your site's number from a phone it knows. Photos come through.
- EmailEmail your site's address. Attachments come through.
- Your own AI assistant Different setup, same result. Connect Claude or another assistant to your site once, then ask it from the chat you already use, and it acts on your site for you. Set it up
Publish blog posts
Site Star researches and writes posts in your business's voice, then publishes them on the schedule you choose: once a month, once a week, or twice a week, on the days you pick. Twice a week is the most it publishes. Publishing is off until you turn it on, so nothing appears on your site that you didn't ask for.
How the posts sound and what they cover comes from your business info: the Blog, SEO, and Topic sourcing sections.
Ask Site Star
Site Star confirms the schedule and tells you when the first post is due.

Open Settings → Automations on the Website tab. On the Publish blog posts card, switch it on, pick a schedule and day, and Save schedule.
The other automations
Everything else is a plain on/off switch. What each one does when it's on:
- Find blog topics — looks for things worth writing about (what people search for, what your competitors cover, what your site doesn't answer yet) and files the ideas for you to approve. They arrive as suggestions.
- Refresh older posts — revisits posts that have aged and proposes updates, so work you already paid for keeps earning its place.
- SEO health check — reviews titles, descriptions, and page structure across the site, and raises what's worth fixing. Off unless you turn it on.
- Site quality checks — visits your live site the way a customer would and reports anything broken or confusing.
- Market research — looks at how others in your market are positioning themselves and summarises what's changing.

In Settings → Automations, each automation has a switch, with its next run time beside it once it's on.
Where the results go
Automations don't change your site on their own. Anything they produce follows the same path as a change you asked for: topics and fixes arrive as suggestions you say yes or no to, and posts and updates go through review if you've asked to review changes before they go live. Reports and summaries come to your site contacts.
